ABOUT
The Dr. Richard E. Peter Biology Conference is an annual celebration of research hosted by the Biological Sciences Graduate Student Association in order to showcase the diverse research conducted by Biological Sciences and life sciences students at the University of Alberta and institutions across the province. The event consists of poster and oral presentations by senior undergraduate, M.Sc. and Ph.D. students, as well as workshops and keynote lectures from distinguished professors.
We respectfully acknowledge that the R.E. Peter Biology Conference is located on Treaty 6 territory, a traditional gathering place for diverse Indigenous peoples including the Cree, Blackfoot, Metis, Nakota Sioux, Iroquois, Dene, Ojibway / Saulteaux / Anishinaabe, Inuit, and many others whose histories, languages, and cultures continue to enrich our vibrant community.
